Dim Upload, Pic, fileCount

Set Upload = Server.CreateObject("Persits.Upload")

fileCount = Upload.SaveVirtual("../IMG_Pallet/")
Set Pic = Upload.Files("picName")

I am using Persits aspUpload to upload an image to a remote folder on the server.

New to persits I noticed that the upload happens to any filefiled in the ‘Form’, which calls the persits script, even if its not named.

I want to check and validate to ensure the file being uploaded is an image file, and that all happens onblur on the actual form. An alert appears if the extention is not .gif or .jpeg. However, if the user submits the form the persits script uploads whatever the user had selected in the filefiled.

I want to be able to abandon the upload of the image if a variable is set to false, but allow the upload.form method to collect the remaining form objects to save to the database.

I hope this is clear enough to answer.
