I am writting an application using databinding for an inventory interface. In the inventory table i have a column named vendorkey. This key represents the primary key of the vendors table. In my databound interface i would like to list each record of the vendor table inside of a combo box however when the user selects a vendor from the combo it will need to store the vendorkey inside of the inventory table.

My question:

Can i acheive this using databinding or will I have to manually deal with the vendor key column during events in my program?

I am looking for the most efficient approach in dealing with this through code.
