Once I am done using my A: drive, and I removed floppy from the system. &nbsp;Once I am done for the day and start shutting down &nbsp;the computer, A: drive restarts and continues to run and at this point the system locks &quot;Windows is shutting down&quot;, and continues to run. &nbsp;At this point my only successful method to shutting down the computer is disconnecting it from its power source, which isnt good at all. &nbsp;question: &nbsp;its it possible to recover the drive without replacing it. &nbsp;

At this point my only successful method to shutting down the computer is disconnecting it from its power source, which isnt good at all.  question:  its it possible to recover the drive without replacing it.
