Domain Name is not accessible. You might not have permission to use network

From network places try to view all the network click on the domain and get the following message (domain name is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use network resources  The system cannot find specified file.  

The work station is an XP professional sp2
The server is Small business server 2000.

The work station is connected to the network as we can process and do the normal work.
Have one software tryin to install and does not work right because of this problem,

Could be your Workstation is show how dis-join from the the domain. RE-join the worstation to the domaon again.

(Sorry too many typo in the earlier comment)
Also, you might want to ensure that simple file sharing is turned off.  Go to Folder Options, then View, then remove the check from "Use Simple File sharing".

Have tried both suggestions and does not correct the situation
