This is a problem with outlook losing it's connection with the GC. &nbsp;I would look at the GC and check the event log which should indicate a problem. &nbsp;Also check the local machine Event Log to verify the problem. &nbsp;

Figured it out... &nbsp;Had to reset TCP/IP stack using:<br />
<br />
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt<br />
<br />
at command prompt...

We have several users who are using Outlook 2003 to connect to Exchange 5.5. &nbsp;There is one particular user who is having an issue with his address book. <br />

Rather then showing just his Contacts and GAL, it shows the Site, Server, and Recipients lists also. This is after he has his email open, but not actively using it. &nbsp;He gets the following error: <br />

&quot;The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.&quot;<br />

If he gets out of his address book and then goes back into it, it looks and functions normally...<br />
