Change color of email sent only to me.

Our CFO is stating that he at one time had Outlook set so that all emails sent only to him came in a different color.
I have not been able to find out to reset this up.
Anyone have any ideas?
We are on Outlook 2000.

I don't know if it is too late to re open this ticket.

The suggestion above worked, but for only about a week and then the setting was lost.
I performed a repair on the install and the setting took again and then after another week was lost again and will again not stay.
He has Outlook 2000 installed and we are still running Exchange 5.5SP4.

His email box is in excess of 4GB in size if this makes any difference.
Please help, he is loosing faith in us.
Hi harlemit,

I'd say the problem could lie in the 4GB mailbox size. Unpredictable things can happen with Outlook XP and lower versions when the mailbox size goes over 2GB.

Have a look at the comments from Sembee and flyguybob. This may possibly by why the setting keeps dropping out.

I'd look at deleting/archiving some of his mail to reduce the size limit of the mailbox, then try the colour setting again.

I've just done this in Outlook 2003 and even though I select individual emails and colour code find that other senders with the same 1st name or surname are automatically marked the same colour.

For example set 'John Smith' to green...

Then 'John Example' will also turn green and vice versa with the surname!!

Why?
