Hi all experts,

I just started to try writing my first hello world J2ME app into my Oxygen XdaII phone(pocket PC). However, i kept facing "ClassFormatError" while i try to run it on O2 PDA.

Why is tat so? anyone can enlighten me?

p/s:
1. We have installed Jeode 1.1 Runtime on the O2 and also J2SDK 1.5 on the PC.
2. We have followed instruction on Jeode readme to create a link to Try.jar in this way:
(18#"\Windows\evm.exe" -Djeode.evm.console.local.keep=TRUE -cp \Windows\lib\Try.jar)
3. The hello world code is as simple as below:

import javax.microedition.lcdui.*;
import javax.microedition.midlet.*;

public class Try extends MIDlet {
      Display display;
    public Try(){
            display = Display.getDisplay(this);
            Form f = new Form("Hello");
            f.append("Hello World!!!");
            display.setCurrent(f);
      }
      public void destroyApp(boolean unconditional){
      }
      public void startApp(){
      }
      public void pauseApp(){
      }

}
