hello experts,
I'll try to give as much detail as possible as to what im trying to accomplish

details..
i've created a VB.net windows form to capture short amounts of data from 5 text boxes and store them in to a .csv file so it can be imported into a database... i have a barcode scanner to scan bcarcodes obviously and the scanned data goes into one of the boxes on the form.

ALL THE ABOVE IS WORKING PERFECTLY but its a manual process to tab to the next box

the help i need..
what I want to do is scan one code and have the form auto tab to the next box.. Not sure if this can be done on event ( e.g. after scan ) or because the codes are a set length, have the form monitor the text entered and when it reaches a certain length tab down.

I have no idea where to start with this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
any code samples would also be a great help!

thanks
hb
