Have had many problems on Server 2003 where the have been 3 servers in the domain

I extracted one as we were getting replication problems within the domaini thought this was due to DNS but then later  resolved it to be a lack of GC and that the third removed server was still the holder of at least two of the 4 roles (domain naming server, RID master etc)

After seizing the roles back to the main  DC it was found that the 2 remaining DC's seem to have different doamins or the domain had been split, if one user was created on the first DC it would not replicate in AD to the second and the same sort of thing was happening with Exchange

Now we have done a forced demotion of the second DC as it would not go down gracefully due to a DNS problem

DNS was removed from the last DC to then be recreated, but, this is more difficult than i thought as the old scope/zone also contained the settings for the DC's and the _msdc zone etc...

In short can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to recreate these zones or a documented way to do it

Come on experts please help me out on this one!!
