Greetings!

I have a program that I've designed to run as a windows service.  Everything works fine when I supply traditional login credentials for the service to use, but it fails to start the service if I designate the "Local system account" for login.

Everything is good within the code for interacting with and updating the service control manager.  And like I said, everything is perfect with a traditional login.  I've combed over MSDN pretty heavily and can't find any information about this and I'm at my wit's end.  Furthermore, I know through debug testing that the executable NEVER EVEN GETS STARTED with localsystem login.  Other services, include MS SQL Server 2000, run as the local system account on this machine with no problems.

Any ideas?
