I wish to know how to apply background images to my 3D games... The background image needs to be static, such that it appears dynamic [when the camera moves around].
I must be able to look horizontally, and see [for example] fields, but must also be able to look up, and see clouds... How do I do this?
Can I render the images to the background of the display, and use some algorithm to shift the background image about, to simulate movement (when the camera moves)? (Surely I musn't render the images to some huge shape in the distance (such as the inside of a sphere)).. ??
