I have a cable modem and a netgear router (WGR614 v4). after hooking up the router, it wouldn't detect an IP address from my cable provider. i can't get on the internet. I have tried to turn the power to both devices off and back on. the internal network is set to have the same ip range that came with the router. i can connect to all my other machines, just not the internet.
