I need to synchronize a local filemaker database with our mysql database elsewhere.
I'm not realy into filemaker but I know that it can output xml (is it possible to let FM output xml each hour? I don't need detailed information on this)
Probably what i want to do is let filemaker output some xml file(s) on our server,
then I want to extract the data to put them into mysql, this would be a php script running hourly by a cronjob.
now the best part (on wich I only need some advice for further research)
As I said, I need to synchronize it, so that means both ways.
I'm thinking about doing exactly the reverse, so let make a php script output xml hourly ba a cronjob and place it on the webserver.
Then FM have some sort of scheduled task to import the xml.
Is it possible to let FM output xml each hour?
Does anyone know about a great php class wich can do this conversion?
Does this php class support both ways, or is there another?
Can FM import on an hourly basis?
