Errors when trying to mount a store

I'm running exchange 2003. Earlier this morning, both the mailbox store and public folder store dismounted. When I try to remount them I get
An internal processing error has sccured. Try restarting the Exchange System Manager ot the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service, or both.
I did what it said, hwever it didn't fix anything.
When I look int he event viewer I get errors with the event ID 9518 and 455
The event ID 9518 reads as follows:
Source MSExchangeIS
Type: Error
Event ID: 9518

Error Current log file missing starting Storage Group
(Whole much of stuff)
Storage Group on the Microsoft Exchange Information Store.
Storage Group - Initialization of Jet Failed

Event ID 455 as follows:

Source: ESE
Sategory: Logging/Recovery
Type: Error:
Event ID: 455

Information Store (3612) First Storage Group: Error - 1811 (0xfffff8ed) occurred while opening logfile C:\Program Files\Exchsrver\mdbdata\E00.log.

When this first happened this morning, Instead of it not able to open E00.log it was looking for E0001515.log
So when I first saw that I did a search first a solution and came accross a Microsoft KB article that says I should delete the log files and remount and databases and then the E00.log file would be recreated and everything should work. I tried doing that but when I went to remount, I got this Error:
The database files in the store are inconsistent.
ID no: c1041739
Exchange System Manager

According to another KB article, I have to run a repair on this database.
I went to run the repair but when it was checking the database integrity and said:
The database is not up-tp-date. This operation may find that this database is corrupt because data from the log files has yet to be placed in the database.
To ensure the database is up-to-date please use the 'Recovery' operation.
I tried running the recovery but couldn't get it to work

What should I do from here?

I restored all the files I removed this morning but they seem to only go up to e0001513.log. I ran eseutil /MH and the state is in dirty shutdown and it wants e0001515.log. We had a power outage last night, would that have anything to do with it. Also, I checked in the anti-virus quarintine and e00.log was in there but every time I restore it, it gets put back in htere. Would that have anything to do with this?

I tried to run a recovery but got this error:
Operation terminated with error -543 (JET_errRequiredLogFilesMissing, The required log files for recovery is missing.) after 240.31 seconds.

So I guess my question now is, can I fix this without that e001515.log file or without having to do a repair?

Alright I did a hard repair on the Mailbox Store but I'm still getting an error:

An internal processing error has occurred. Try restarting the Exchange System Manager or the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service, or both.

ID no: c1041724
Exchange System Manager

It's the same error I've been getting all this time
Well now you will have to try a utility called Exmerge.exe provided by MS this could solve the issue Exmerge imports the messges from a corrupt data store into .PST files and then you can export them back into a mailbox store later using exmerge.exe

So in this way you atleast have messages which you can get.

When I run exmerge I get this error:
Error encountered getting mailbox information from the private information store database(s) on server 'SERVER01'. Make sure you have adequate permissions on the Information Store object. Please refer to the 'ExMerge.log' log file for more information.
you will have to set proper permissions for the same chek this URL

I ran a repair again and then ran a recovery with the /I switch and it seemed to fix the problem.
Thanks for your help and since you're the only one who did help me, you'll get the points.
Thanks Sephius
