SQL Profiler Crashes "Failed to read Trace Data" and The memory could not be "written"
Hi,
I'm trying to run a trace using Profiler on SQL Server 2000.
SQL Server has the latest Service Packs etc.
I'm trying to run the SQLProfilerStandard trace template.
Any machine that I try to run the trace from, I get a SQL Profiler Error "Failed to read Trace Data" and a windows based error...
profiler.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f...." referenced memory at "0x000....". The memory could not be "written"
All the microsoft boards seem to just say is - get the latest service pack and it fixes this. My SQL Server HAS the latest service pack, and I still have the problem.
Someone please help!
