Exchange Activesync internet_45 error

Hi

We have SBS 2003 with OWA working ok, using a trusted certificate which we bought.  I'm trying to get our XDA users syncing with activesync on the server.  I've entered our FQDN in the server box, it matches the certificate exactly.  I've also exported my certificate using internet explorer into the device, so it appears in the trusted list of certificates.

I've also checked the various tabs in IIS, Exchange activesync and OMA and made sure they've got the certificate and require the SSL.  I keep getting INTERNET_45 errors though.  If I turn off SSL I get an HTTP error instead.

Haven't seen much of this on experts exchange after searching, any ideas?  My next step is to disable cert checking using the MS utility, but any other ideas?

Ok, as I suspected disabling cert checking on the pda worked fine.  Everything is ok and no errors.

I'm not sure how acceptable this configuration is though?  I assume we're not using SSL on the PDA's right now with the cert checking off?

Do I need to use the petri.co.il link to get this working, or can I leave things as they are?
"we're not using SSL " Correct

NO you dont need the petro
