The DSN settings on the DC to be removed were the problem. &nbsp;DCPromo worked fine after changing them. &nbsp;I ran AD Schema and verified that the FSMO is already on another DC. &nbsp;Thanks for your help.

I have 3 DC's and one of them is having various non critical problems so I decided to rebuild it. &nbsp;The problem is when I run DCpromo I get the error &quot;Failed to configure the service Netlogon as requested&quot; &quot;The wait operation timed out&quot;. &nbsp;What do I do to solve this?<br />

DCpromo fails with Netlogon service error

Windows 2000 is an operating system for use on both client and server computers.
