Cisco 2600 series router - hangs on load
I have a Cisco 2620 router, when powered up it displays losts of 'c' symbols to the screen, with a little tail under the C, (using teraterm), and stops after filling half the page. When hitting enter it doesn't do anything, tried ctrl-break but it only displays extra lines of 'c' characters and won't display the > symbol.
Any ideas? I've tried replacing the Flash and RAM from a working router and this hasn't solved the problem. This was a working router, and don't know why it decided to not boot properly!

Cheers, will do that. Yes I agree, it's probably that.

It doesn't go any further than this. If I remove the jumper (back to normal setting), it still does the 'c' s.
Any ideas? Does it sound like memory gone? I've got another 2600, so will try the memory again, but at least this time I'll be able to see something on the screen that is meaningful!
