I managed to find the following key in the registry:-<br />

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR<wbr />E\Novell\N<wbr />etwork Provider\Menu Items\Enable systray icon. <br />
<br />
Set this to 'yes' and it does the same job. Good to know the way to the settings through network connections though. Didnt realise you could get to them without the big red 'N'. Thanks!<br />
