Windows normally doesn't allow to share Program Files folder. You can share it, by right mouse clicking Program Files folder and set sharing handly.

You cannot run programs on other computers over the network without a terminal server or remote desktop - if that is what you are trying to do.  If you want to share the data, you have to share the folders on the drive that you want shared over the network.  In other words, share the program files folder.

well, if i directly want to share the program files folder itsself, it cant be done....

the sharing features will disable once i right click on sharing and went into the sharing tab page.

you cant share program files but you share the hall drive ( C or D etc) and the you can access program files
or if you want you can use remote desktop and allow disk drive from remote options

Asker, why the C?  This low grade seems pretty unfair to me.  Do the other experts here agree that c is an unfair grade?
