I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think it is a bug.

does it happen to you too ?
CompTIA Network+

Prepare for the CompTIA Network+ exam by learning how to troubleshoot, configure, and manage both wired and wireless networks.

Not here...

Are you running Tabbrowser Preferences?

Install it and you can control how tabs behave.

A small trick worth trying too:

When the wole window becomes a little bit smaller, as you say, drag the right low corner to make it even smaller, about 1/4th of the screen.

Now close Firefox in File > Exit.

Reopen Firefox and maximize it using the top right corner square. Close again in File > Exit.

no, worst.. try making the windows much bigger than when its maximized,
then close, open, mazimize, close, open, test...

Don't understand what you mean.

Care to explain...?

apleloisAuthor Commented:
IE is much faster and never crases 99% compatibilities with every single website and im using firefox that is full of bugs
why because firefox has in the top right something to seach for google or ebay and because you can bookmark the websites
bellow the address bar, if i just could have that in IE ill be super happy something like myie2 has
apleloisAuthor Commented:
actually MyIE2 0.9.27 lite is a very powerful thing

I have a totally different opinion, but I would say every user has his own.

Greetings, aplelois !

Sorry that you have been having some trouble with Firefox.  Regarding your original question, yes, once in a while when a new tab is created from an email link, the Firefox browser window goes from maximized state to unmaximized state.  Drag the corners of the unmaximized state to full screen.  Then close all other Firefox windows.  Then close this last unmaximized state window last.  Then next time you go to an unmaximized state, it will be full screen.

Best wishes!
