how can I speed a file by using mciPlayString! it's mean play faster or slower!?!

Hi there!
Is mciSendString support us play a sound with higher or lower speed?!

as we know, if we do that we got 2 way:
   1) one is change speed and change the voice too. It's mean if you speed it and if that file was sing with a man voice, than after it, the voice may be like a woman voice. (I think we usally met this with some media player)

   2) other is chang speed but not change voice. You can see this with Microsoft Window Media Player 10. When You speed it, it look like some one sing more fast, and the voice seem not to be changed.

Show please tell me how can I do it. Is mciPlayString support 2 feature above, or just 1 of them? And how to use that.

Thanks alot

a bit mistake its not 'mciPlayString' its 'mciSendString'....

u can do it with.. "set NOWMUSIC speed <speed-milisecond>"

eg.

bool SetSpeed(int Speed)
{
CString lpstrCommand;
lpstrCommand.Format("set NOWMUSIC speed %d",  Speed);
if(mciSendString(lpstrCommand.GetBuffer(0),NULL,0,0)==0)
 return true;
else return false;
}

one I want to ask Ur answer is in what case? (1 or 2)
second is "set NOWMUSIC speed <speed-milisecond>". So <speed-milisecond> if I want it's faster what number for it is good for example. And for normal or slower?
