networking without PC?

I am trying to help someone install a network in a repair shop. They have a Dell Dimension 3000 w/ XP home and quickbooks pro 2001 in the main customer area/office area. But what they want to do is be able to access the Dell from the service counter without having to purchase a seperate computer. I have been told there is a way to do this with some sort of network base but it is beyond me. Could someone please inform me how to accomplish this or where to get the info I need?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

BestBuy has something that can give you a virtual PC anywhere you have a TV, can't remember what it's called.  But basicly you connect it to your network and a TV and it acts like a computer.

You can use a KVM Extender, else a cheap PC running linux, or a "WinTerm" - IF you upgrade the computer to XP Pro.
