Fedora 4: Apache and Tomcat + mod_jk

1.  I have installed APACHE and I am able to run PHP and PERL files.  I have installed TOMCAT and it is running fine and I can execute the JSP pages if I type http://localhost:8080/Sample.jsp.  I read about the mod_jk plug-in and as far I could understand, it allows the execution of JSP pages from APACHE i.e. http://localhost/Sample.jsp will work.  I have tried configuring the mod_jk from the following tutorial:

Topic: Apache+Tomcat/JSP+mysql on Fedora core 4

However, when I try to browse http://localhost/examples/ I got 404. http://localhost:8080/examples/ works fine.  What I am missing here?

2.  Do I have to put the JSP pages in the tomcat shared folder or I can execute it from anywhere?

Please help.

Thanks, Nauman.

The line :-

                  JkMount    /examples/* worker1

sends web requests from Apache across to TomCat. Where exactly did you place this line in the httpd.conf file?

Actually my worker.properoties file had the name worker1 and in HTTPD.CONF file I was using ajp13.  When I changed it to worker1, the Internal Server error went away.  Thanks for the comment Big Rat :)
