Display "Primary Phone" field while viewing Address Cards in Outlook's Contacts

I would like to be able to show "Primary Phone" as a field when viewing my Contacts by "Address Cards."

There's gotta be a way to modify the fields that outlook displays in this view...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello werddrew,

the only way i can see that in address card view is by

- goto view
- choose arrange by | current view | customize current view | fields
- add the primary phone as a field and move it up to the second place

in detailed address card view you can do the same only it wouldn't be neccessary to move it to the second place

hope this helps a bit and a happy new year!

Greetings, werddrew.

There certainly is a way to do this.  Follow these instructions to make the change.

1.  Open the Contacts folder.
2.  Click View->Arrange By->Current View->Customize Current View.
3.  Click the Fields button.
4.  Scroll down the Available Fields list until you find Primary Phone.  Select it, then click the Add button.
5.  Select Primary Phone in the right-hand list and click the Move Up or Move Down buttons until you have the field positioned where you want it.
6.  Click Ok.

Cheers!

QP can be so annoying some times.  I reloaded the question twice before I started typing my answer and it showed no posts at all.  Then I submit my post and all the other posts suddenly appear.
