Changing the brush for a button

Returning my_background_brush in OnCtlColor makes the dialog box background the color I want but the button faces  are still the system default. How can I change their background?  I would have thought that returning my_background_brush for every entry to OnCtlColor would include the buttons, but apparently not.

Thanks,
Steve

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To change the colour of a button you must use owner drawn buttons. Here is an article on codeguru with code for extending the CButton class to make coloured buttons.
