ATI IGP 345m Driver for Windows 2000

I DESPERATLY NEED a Win2k driver for an ATI IGP 345m video card. This is from a Sony Vaio laptop. I can not use Windows X and that is all Sony can give me. Does someone have or know a link!

Thanks Louis

This may work from ATI's website...you have to have SP4 installed...

You may be stuck as ATI doesn't have an available W2k driver.

You may have to contat ATI direct.

@tim qui,

Thank you! That worked better then the ghetto work around I found. I spend about 4 hours last night trying to install each driver in the Win2k catalyst package to get one that semi worked! Your links were very helpful.

@sirbounty and irwinpks,

ATI and Sony both disavow this video card and offer ZERO support for Win2k drivers on this card. This is rather disconcerting but thank you for trying.

Thanks again gang,

Louis

A laptop or notebook is a portable personal computer with a clamshell form factor, suitable for mobile use. Although originally there was a distinction between laptops and notebooks, the former being bigger and heavier than the latter, there is often no longer any difference. Laptops are commonly used in a variety of settings, such as at work, in education, and for personal multimedia. A laptop combines the components, inputs, outputs and capabilities of a desktop computer, including the display screen, speakers, a keyboard, and pointing devices (such as a touchpad or trackpad) into a single unit. The device can be powered either from a rechargeable battery or by mains electricity from an AC adapter.
