Cannot open attachments within sent folder

Windows XP, Office 2003.  User can open email attachments from emails in her inbox such as excel, adobe, notepad and so forth.  If she send out an email with an attachment and tries to open it from her sent items she gets following error:

"The server application, source file, or tem could not be found. Make sure the application is properly installed, and that is has not been deleted, moved, or renamed."

Any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have the same exact problem today. If I find a fix I will let you know.
After applying SP2 for office 2003 the issue seemed to have been resolved for me.
