Google Maps display problem

I started with a Google map that looked and worked fine:
(please enter user name: experts / password: maphelp)

Then I tooke the top-left cells of the table and merged them - theoretically has nothing to do with the map whatsoever - but this created a bizarre display problem in IE where the map is centered on the zoom tool, and extends out over most of the page:

Every other page on the site where this change was applied - no problem. But every page that has a Google map is messed up - although it looks like all of the original map code is intact. Can anyone help me out?

(NOTE: If you view these pages in Firefox 1.5, the map displays properly, but the infowindow text wraps after every word, flowing out of the box. If you know a workaround for that, it would also be much appreciated.)

I figured it out. I had an image map on one of the graphics. The image map and the Google map were fighting over the name "map." I changed the name to "googlemap," and everything fell into place.

Here are my final working examples, for anyone who runs into this problem (you have to rename every instance in the map code). These examples also fix the infowindow text problem experienced in Firefox 1.5:
(auto-open info window)
(multiple markers; info window opens on click)
