This is going to sound like a complete fools mistake but I've done it and I'm looking at a world of trouble. I was trying to upgrade a Windows 2000 Server to Windows 2003. Inserted the disk and ran the upgrade route . When it rebooted it began to install - then I realised it was installing fresh in the Windows route directory. The machine is now in  perpetual restart and goes to install 2003 and then hangs at 34 minutes left of installation time. I've tried booting from Windows 2000 cd and doing an erd repair - nothing doing. Everytime the server reboots it immediately tries to restart the Windows 2003 setup and then hangs at 34 minutes.  Please help - it's a clients server and I'm looking at the sack!
Thanks in advance.
