I have a tablecell that I am creating in the codebehind.  I want to set the border of the tablecell to

.5pt

but unit.point only accepts an integer.  So if I put 1pt for the border the html page looks fine.

The problem is I am eventually sending the table to excel, and if I use a 1pt the border of the cell border is huge in excel.

Is there a way to set the border as a decimal point?  Also a note using css or styles doesn't work when going between asp and excel.

        If Not IsForExcel Then
            td.BorderColor = td.BorderColor.Black
            td.BorderWidth = System.Web.UI.WebControls.Unit.Pixel(1)
        Else
            'td.Attributes.Add("border", ".5pt solid black;")  'THIS DOESN"T WORK
            td.BorderStyle = BorderStyle.Solid
            td.BorderColor = td.BorderColor.Black
            td.borderwidth=system.web.ui.webcontrols.unit.pixel(.5) 'THIS IS A DESIGN TIME ERROR
        End If
