Hi Experts,
One column in my Datagrid is bound to a text column which has the path of an image stored in sql database. Is there a way to display that image in the datagrid column?

Using Datagrid, not that easily!
but you can use lots of fantastic ActiveX controls to do that in a great way!
I my self advice you to use the component from VideoSoft (who is the author of most of the grids, published in VisualStudio by Microsoft) named:
VSFlexGrid 8.0
It includes too many samples that shows you how to do that...
it has a property names: CustDataPict that you can easily set your pictures to show in columns...
here is the sample of that compnent:

Product:       VSFlexGrid Pro
Language:       VB
Size:       6 KB
Summary:       Map data values into pictures using the ColImageList property.

This project shows how you can use the FlexGrid control's ColImageList property to map data values into pictures.

The sample implements a FlexDataSource class which returns regular string data. The grid uses the ColImageList property to convert the data for two columns into icons.

and here is the link to download:

Hope it helps...

Hi Mourtaza,
I would like to know if there is any free stuff I could use.
Also if you know of a solution, even difficult but workable, to implement in dbgrid  I would still like to know that. Thanks
