Here is my situation:

I have a Windows 2000 Professional sitting behind a Linksys WRT54G w/the latest firmware.  I setup the W2k prof to accept incoming VPN connections through the "make new connection" wizard.

When within the same subnet/network, I am able to connect to the VPN via another Windows 2000 Professional desktop w/o problems.

However, I'd like to connect to the VPN over the Internet, i.e. remotely.  I set the WRT54G to forward port 1723 to the W2k machine that is set to accept incoming connections.  When I try to connect to the machine's VPN over the web the connection fails.

Help please.

Thanks.
