Extract part of a URL

Hi, I have a map which allows users to click on a county. Each county has a link in the form  "searchresults.php?COUNTYNAME"

When the link is clicked, I need to load another page and use the part after the ? mark as criteria for my select query.

I've tried using $PHP_SELF but this only shows me the part before the ? mark. How do I get the part of the string that I need?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi, you can use $_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'];
