Installing Apache internal error 2735 Resolve Server Name

Hi

When trying to install Apache 2.0.55 I get the error message

"Installing Apache internal error 2735 Resolve Server Name"

Any ideas how to fix?   Also when I try to install on another machine  I get as far as the installer but next and back are greyed out and the only option is cancel.  Its stays this way no matter how long I wait.  I have downloaded many times and also tried version from cds(the ones you get with "Teach Yourself" books)

What could be causing this?   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your machine's IP must resolve to valid hostname in revDNS.
Try adding following line
your.network.ip.number www.my.hostname.tld
to the /etc/hosts or C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
