Adobe Acrobat v7.07 update error 1612 - missing source media

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro v7.05 for Windows installed. The Adobe Acrobat Update Manager tells me that an update to v7.07 is available. I run AAUM, it downloads the update, I click install. I then get an error message saying that because of "Missing source media. (Error 1612)" the installation cannot be completed.

I purchased Acrobat 7.0 as a download and the setup files were automatically saved to c:\program files\adobe\acrobat 7.0\setup files\acropro\enu during installation. It seems like AAUM is not seeing this folder and I don't get an opportunity to point i there.

I cannot find anything about this error message on the Adobe website.

You could try updating manually following the instructions on the link below:

Thanks for the response. I did try the manual update for Windows and got the same error message. The one you suggested is for Macs, so I didn't try it :-).

Ok, so the manual update isn't working. Did you try the 7.05 updates first?
I know you have 7.05 already, but I'm wondering whether there is something else that it's looking for first before its allowing the upgrade to 7.07?

It looks like I will have to uninstall, do the cleanup with the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and reinstall v7.0, then the v7.05 and v7.07 updates, per information on the Adobe website message boards.
