unexpected shutdown of the server

I use Veritas backup Exec software in the network, and sometimes the server that has the backupExec software installed on it looses connection with another server[SERVER2]that hold folders to be backed up.

I went to the server2 and in its tcp/ip configuration/wins tab I enabled netbios over tcp/ip then disabled it , and the computer rebooted by itself.

when it restarts the server that has backup exec can connect to the server2. but I don't know why server2 reboots by itself, and in the event log it says unexpected shutdown.
note that there is no WINS on the server2.

any idea?
