Moving My documents folder redirection from server 1 to server 2 and removing offline folders, file from workstations

My client uses group policy to re-direct the my documents folder to a share on the file server. I am attempting to move the users folder and files from a server named \\server1\data\%username%\my documents to \\server2\users\%username%\my documents. The folder redirection seems to work fine when we login. Then when the users log off and the folders syncronize it attempts to sync to server1's location as well as the new server2 location. What am I missing? I want to remove all instances of server1 from the offline file and folders syncronization on the workstations.

Please post the reply here and e-mail me at <email address removed by sirbounty>.

Open "My Computer", Tools>Folder options>Offline Files tab.
Delete the files (button at bottom).
Try re-syncing now.
If that doesn't work, you may have to disconnect network drives, delete the files, then reconnect the drives (or have them logoff/on if GP is working.
