I'm having a problem enabling RDC on my w2k3 server...

Hey all.

I never had this problem before, but then again, I haven't installed w2k3 in a year or so.  I cannot remote desktop into my w2k3 server.  I've installed IIS and anything remotely connected with Remote Desktop Connection, but I still cannot RDC in.  The server is a workgroup, and no AD installed.  Any step-by-step help to enable this would be appreciated.

I *can* ping the server just fine.  I *can* RDC to other servers on my network...

Because I need to get this up asap (have programmers that need 'trimmed' databases that will fit in MSDE and I cannot move the files to the server (and SQL Server) until I can connect, I'll offer 400 pts.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do you get any error(s)?

From the server, click Start->Programs->Administrative Tools->Terminal Services Configuration
and check the configuration there...check permissions, and logon settings, and the remote control tabs

Well, thanks for replying sirbounty.  This is yer lucky day, for being diligent enough to try to help someone.  I realized I need to go to My Computer, Select Properties, Click the Remote tab, and Enable Remote Connections.  Duh.  But hey, perhaps your suggestion joggled this ancient memory...so the points are yours.
