Hi all,

I have a strange problem with internet explorer 6 sp2 (maybe also with other version, I didn't test it.). I have a jsp page, wich loads some dynamic content from a database. But when I access the page, internet explorer seems to stop loading the page (progress bar disappears and little windows icon in the right top stops moving). But, when I wait a bit, the page suddenly pops up.

If I use firefox, the problem is not there. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

Thank you,

Thierry

Download and install the latest java..link above.  access the page again and see if you have the same results or not.

I already had the latest version. That didn't solve it.

Are  you running a pop-up blocker?  You may want to temporarily disable it.

wait a minute... so this is not machine specific?  am I right? when you go to other workstations and call that .jsp page you get the same result?

if so, check your code....strip it down to a modular component(s) and add the pieces back 1 x 1 until you get the offending error.

Commented:
No, it's not machine specific. I will examine the code.
