how to run an exe file without user intervention.

An exe application file always checks for the availability of the Visual FoxPro RunTime Library. Vfp7r.dll in version 7 & in version 8 Vfp8r.dll.

There are also other files required as well. For more information, see "Ensuring Correct Run-Time Behavior" in the Visual FoxPro online Help.

The information is also online: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dv_foxhelp/html/dgpreparationdistributingapplication.asp

You can download these dlls from the Microsoft web site. Also can be downloaded from this link: http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~VFPRuntimeFiles~VFP

Hope it will help u a bit.

Dear MilanKM

I've forgot to mention the exe file is of vpf 5.0 version. The exe file is running almost 35 to 40 systems includes lan as well as stand alone. But in particular location it is not working. I've re-created setup and sent it to that location. After installing setup file the exe is working but after some time it gives the erroe ***.exe is not a visual foxpro exe.

can you help ??????
