"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Ad-aware and Spybot are good for removing spyware from individual workstations.

I like CCleaner also for registry cleaning and temp file deleting.  You can download it here: http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000-2144_4-10465908.html?tag=lst-0-1

lho92,

You might want to start off by going to this link to check some of the performance tweaks you can do

http://www.tweakxp.com/performance_tweaks.aspx

Then you can run this free registry software below

http://www.download.com/Abexo-Free-Registry-Cleaner/3000-2094_4-10434887.html?tag=lst-0-6

Remember to back your registry before you clean it out!
