how to reconnect mailbox to different user

i got a user that somehow got a new AD account in a different domain.  the old AD account was deleted.

the user received a new mailbox but needs to access the old mailbox.  i wanted to reconnect the old mailbox to a new user account i created (called test).   however when i try to it gives me an error:  legacydnvalue is already being used...

any ideas?

ok nevermind i figured it out...had to resolve the conflict and chose the right mailbox
