IIS Smtp blocking mails...

I have installed the IIS on Windows 2003 Server!
After the installation I noticed that our MOM application that was installed on a other
server stopped sending out mail about critical things happening on our server enviroment.
Does IIS smtp effect other servers smtp??

Yes IIS smtp effect smtp of MOM application  if same network . because both are using same port. You can try following steps and find out your problem easily.
1.      IIS >smtp > properties >general tab > advanced >
2.      There is otion edit you can edit the port 25 to 26 and try
If your problem as it is then that iis not block your smtp .
Or you can also try to stop smtp service from window service and  then try for MOM application service you can find out easily.
