"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello Michael,

Operating system and harware compatability issues seem to top the list of cell card issues I hear about.  Any performance burden should be minimal given no compatability problems, adequate system resources - ie. plenty of RAM, quick processor, etc.

The connection speed / data transfer rates are not very fast so it will seem slow. Here is a little info;  http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article/0,aid,122411,00.asp
