I have a website on a Win2K, IIS6, standalone server that is an ASP site.  It times out occasionally.  I find this in the event log

Event ID 1010
Source:  W3SVC
A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' failed to respond to a ping. The process id was '2836'.

Some small errors in the web log, but it seems there is a timeout or something.

I read that maybe if I change the settings under IIS6, local computer, application poos, DefaultAppPool, properties, heath, that I can get better performance.

Ping Worker Process is set to 30
all the others are 5, 5, 90, 90 (the default I think)

Please help.  All other 30 webs on this server are funtioning great.
