Well, our customer has obtained the Sybase server through an external software bundle they bought. but the suppliers of that software didn't give them the cd and are not willing to supply these drivers either. That's why we can't register as a support contact either.

Isn't there another option to download these drivers?

I can't think where else one could download them... however you *don't* need to be a support contact to get the ASA 8.0.3 patch, which includes them.

You *will* need to register at my.sybase.com (free), but once you're registered you can go to

http://downloads.sybase.com/swd/base.do?client=support

and from there you'll be able to get the patch.
and this patch will allow me to create an odbc connection to sybase?
I haven't installed the patch as I don't have ASA, but the cover notes say it includes a full set of ODBC drivers for ASA 8.0.3.

So yes, I expect it will.

Good luck!
