MySQL Server

I have a need to pull data from a MySQL WordPress Blog database into an asp page and display it.
I am having absolutely NO trouble displaying everything EXCEPT the date based fields.

My connection string is good, I can pull the comment and post data, in fact I can pull every field except for any date field.
I get a server error.

Unfortunately I am using Chillisoft on the server and I do not know much about php (or MySQL) and the error just comes back as a "server" error. so no debugging for me.

Anyway I have no idea what could be causing the problem. I assume this is a MySQL error of some sort..

For a simple test I pulled the following:

<%=rs("ID")%><br>
<%=rs("post_title")%><br>
<%=rs("post_category")%><br>
<%=rs("post_content")%><br>

and it works great
If I try this

<%=rs("ID")%><br>
<%=rs("post_title")%><br>
<%=rs("post_category")%><br>
<%=rs("post_content")%><br>
<%=rs("post_date")%>

It fails.

It doesn't make any sense to me.. all I am doing is displayting data that IS in the field and it is
an ASP page, so that is the correct syntax to use to do a simple page write.

I know this is the actual field name and there is a datetime value in the field (I have verified) and I am totally stuck.
Keep in mind, the connection string is good, and all the other data comes over correct.. just the date values error out.

Can someone help?
