Help with Sage!!!!!!!!!!!! Unable to login

We have a problem where users cannot access Sage Line 50 on the network on machines that have recently been introduced to the network.  If they log onto older PC's then there is no problems.  All machines are running winXP Pro and all clients have exactly the same access rights and all PC's have been set up the same way.  We are using Sage v10 and tried installing it via the CD and via netsetup.exe from the server, both have the same outcome.  There are no liscensing issues invlived with Sage as we have unlimited users.  We also have enough user liscenses on the network.

This is what happens when a user tries to log on

Sage splash window appears
Sage form opens in background but turns white
After about 30 secs login box appears
Username and pass are entered and OK pressed
Sage does nothing for for about 60 - 120 secs.
A message appears saying "invalid password"

I hope someone knows what the problem is and can help me resolve it.  I thank you for your time in reading this.

If the cd method was tried first then this is probably what the problem is.

Uninstall Sage from the new workstation and remove the Sage folder from Program Files.  Reboot the pc then try installing from the Server using netsetup..

ASKER

Problem was down to access rights.  Found this information out by using the Knowledgebase on Sage (had to register).  Why didn't I think of that first...... DOH!!!!!!

Access rights enforced by the operating system, rather than those built into Sage?
