Not authorized for view

How can I not be authorized to use a view I just created and gave public access to? The problem does not occur when I preview in NOTES - just when I test on the WEB.

paynestreet, you are not authorized to access applications/s-z/trmproj.nsf/MainView. Please sign in with a name which has sufficient access rights:

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi paynestreet,
you are probably signed in as Anonymous.

Hope this helps,

Do you log in into the database when using the browser? And how? I assume you do, as paynestreet, since your name is in the error message you gave. Then either of these two possibilities:
- try to login using your hierarchical name, like Payne Street/ACME
- add the name paynestreet to the ACL, with the same rights as yourself.

Do the sub-directories exist, I mean are they .DIR-files or real directories? .DIR files have separate settings
